1. Contract for the Supply of Goods, Products or Services

The display of goods on the site amounts to an invitation to treat only and is not an offer to sell products or services at any price indicated. No contract for the supply of products or goods will be deemed to exist between you and Grays Decorating Supplies Limited unless, and until, an email is sent by Grays Decorating Supplies Limited to you confirming that your order has been accepted and payment has been successfully made.
 
The 'confirmation' stage sets out the final details of your order. Following this, we will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. This confirmation e-mail amounts to an acceptance by Grays Decorating Supplies Limited of your offer to buy goods or services from Grays Decorating Supplies Limited and this acceptance is effective regardless of whether or not you receive the e-mail.

We are free to withdraw from a prospective contract at any time prior to acceptance. This also applies in the case of any error or inaccuracy in respect of the goods or services, any description applied to the goods or services, the availability of the goods or services, or the order itself.
We reserves the right to transfer, assign, novate or sub-contract the benefit of the whole or part of any of its rights or obligations under these terms and conditions or any related contract to any third party.
Price and availability information is subject to change without prior notice.

2. Delivery

Free Delivery is up to 30KG only, we reserve the right to charge on deliveries over 30KG, it remains your responsibility to contact us prior to ordering if you think your order may exceed 30KG or if you are in any doubt and wish to check, we will in all cases contact you prior to sending out any deliveries if the order exceeds 30Kg and an additional payment is required, you the have the right to cancel your order at this point. 

This website is only for delivery of products to customers in mainland UK zone A & B addresses. Additional Charges apply for delivery to zones C, D & E, which include Some parts of Scotland, Northern Island, the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Orkney, Shetland and Scottish Islands, BFPO addresses, or the Republic of Ireland. 

Delivery to Isle of Wight is an additional £15 per delivery

Zone C charge is additional £10.00 Per parcel

Zone D charge is additional £15.00 Per parcel

Zone E charge is additional £18.00 Per parcel

Delivery charges and timescales are estimated and may vary due to carriers’ own timescales and/or liabilities and/or restriction. We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. Grays Decorating Supplies Limited shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales.

Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered to your property by the courier, or are left with another person or neighbour, or preferably in safe place nominated by you, it is your responsibility to inform us of a safe place, if not the courier may leave it where they see fit, or may take it back to the depot and card the delivery. if you receive a carded delivery, it is your responsibility to contact the courier to re-arrange the delivery.

3. Website Information

Grays Decorating Supplies Limited is providing this site and its contents on an "as is" basis and makes no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to this site or its contents. Grays Decorating Supplies Limited disclaims all such representations and warranties, including for example warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In addition, Grays Decorating Supplies Limited does not represent or warrant that the information accessible via this site is accurate, complete or current. 

Online price errors - if we discover an error in the price of goods ordered or reserved, we will inform you as soon as possible (e.g. prior to the goods being dispatched or in store prior to the collection of the goods). We will provide you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled and will inform you wherever possible. If you choose to cancel and have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

4. Processing of All Orders

All prices are shown in £s sterling and include VAT (where applicable) at the applicable current rates, but exclude delivery charges, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Credit cards must be debited before any goods are shipped or before services are sent by Grays Decorating Supplies Limited. Goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. A full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods. Additional Terms and Conditions for payments made by PayPal can be found at www.paypal.co.uk (Grays Decorating Supplies Limited is not responsible for the content of external websites).

We do not file details of your order for you to subsequently access direct on this website, and therefore, please print out these terms and conditions and the order acknowledgement for your own records.

We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.

5. Returns, Cancellations and Substitutions

We offer a discretionary 30-day money-back guarantee on most items.
You may bring the item back to one of our stores or post it to us at your cost. Products returned to us remain the property of the seller until we have deemed the return undamaged, complete, in re-saleable condition, fair and valid. It is the customers responsibility to check all Mixed paints for the correct colour match prior to use, only full unused tins will be considered for a refund and we will not be liable for labour costs or damage arising from faulty colour mixing or miss matched colours as these should have been fully checked prior to use.
All tins should be checked for colour matching if you are buying more than one tin. All products returned by post or carrier will not be accepted as arrived without a valid signature from a Grays Decorating Supplies Limited member of staff only.
We cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen goods that have not arrived and not been signed for from a member of Grays Decorating Supplies Limited staff. If any goods arrive damaged via the carrier, we will refuse delivery and the goods should be returned by the carrier, under the terms and conditions of the carrier only. Grays Decorating Supplies Limited will not be liable for refused goods. We will only refund onto the original payment card or offer you an exchange. You must have your proof of purchase and the item should be unused, in its original packaging and in a re-sellable condition. It is our discretion as to the condition of all products prior to making a decision on all refunds.
We’ll sort out your refund or replacement as soon as we’ve received your item. This may take up to 2 weeks from the moment it arrives to us. All necessary action will be taken to process the item quickly. If we cannot process the item within two weeks, we will inform you. If an item is no longer available or out of stock, we will notify you when we will be receiving replacement stock. If the product is no longer available, we will do our best to offer you a similar alternative or we may offer you your money back.  
Some products are excluded from the Guarantee and are clearly marked next to the product name.
Sometimes the product specifications from the manufacturer may change, in which case we will do our best to offer you a similar alternative. We may experience problems with the supply of certain products and may therefore supply a substitute of the same or better quality at the same price. 
If you are not happy with the replacement or substitute you can return it in accordance with our 30-day money-back guarantee. Where applicable, you may cancel your order in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Contracts Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges Regulations (see the Returns and refunds for further details).
All sizes and measurements are approximate, but we do try to make sure that they are as accurate as possible.

6. Limitation of Liability

Except as specifically stated on this site, neither Grays Decorating Supplies Limited nor any of its directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this site. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation to) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties.
Collections to and from our stores and the safe transportation of goods remain the responsibility of the carrier or purchaser, we will not held responsible for spilt or damaged paints in transit other than through our own courier   

7. Fraudulent and Illegal Acts

It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card or debit card to order goods. Anyone caught willfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We track the electronic fingerprints of every order placed on this website to enable us and all legitimate crime prevention and prosecution authorities to trace individual users engaging in criminal activities on our website.

8. Changes to Terms and conditions

Grays Decorating Supplies Limited reserves the right to modify or change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any modification of these terms and conditions will be deemed to be effective from the date and time of posting on the Grays Decorating Supplies Limited web site. It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.

(1) Arriving at our stores


Please be patient.

Please read all notices at our entrances.

Be aware of social distancing whilst waiting to enter our stores.

Do not congregate at our entrances in bad weather, bring an umbrella.

Allow customers to have a clear exit.


(2) Entering the stores


We are restricting overall numbers in store so Please check with staff if it ok to enter.

Be aware of others in store and allow extra room around our tills and pinch points.

Please use the hand sanitiser provided.

Observe in store notices.


(3) Masks


Please wear masks that cover the mouth and nose in store at all times.

DO NOT EAT OR DRINK IN OUR STORES AS THIS WILL STOP YOU WEARING A MASK

Our staff may take their masks off when behind our shield screens.


(4) Children


We ask you not to bring children to our stores at this time.

If you have to bring children, please inform staff before entering, do not let your child roam around the shop unattended, to limit any contamination do not let your child touch anything in store. 

We may still ask you to wait outside with your child and we will serve you from there.


(5) In store


To protect our staff we not allowing the use of our toilet facillities at this time.


(6) Selecting items


Use hand sanitiser and limit what you touch in store.


(7) Leaving the store


Please be aware of others when leaving the store.

There may be customers waiting outside.

Check with staff if we are running a one-way system.
